Therapeutic Massage Sessions

Therapeutic Massage is what we call a traditional massage, because it can be a Swedish massage for relaxation or a deep tissue massage for pain relief OR a combination of both. Our Licensed Massage Therapists tailor each session on an individual basis – based on what you need at that time.

Express Massage Sessions

Chair Massage
These massages are made for the clients who are on the go and need a quick fix! Clients stay fully clothed and we focus just on your main complaint. This may take place on the massage table, on top of the sheets, or in a massage chair.

Body Parts Massage
These sessions focus on pain conditions that are in your extremities. For example, headaches, TMJ, Tennis Elbow, Carpal Tunnel, Shin Splints, Plantar Fasciitis and more. Client will stay fully clothes and we will focus on short sessions to relieve the pain of these chronic conditions:

  • Scalp/Neck/ Face Combo
  • Arms/Hands Combo
  • Leg/Foot Combo

Couples Massages

We still encourage you to book couples* massages (see below for how), but over the past year, we have learned that there are benefits to keeping each of you in your own room.

(*Not just for “couples,” but also friends, mother/daughter, etc.)

Massage therapy, in general, whether for relaxation, pain, or injury, is a very personal experience and a good massage is personalized in every way — from intensity, to talking or not talking, to sound, to scent. And no matter how much you adore the person you’re getting a massage with, I’m betting you each desire something a bit different in at least one of those categories.

Rather than compromising what each client wants and needs, we’ve decided, well, not to.

So go ahead and book for the same time and come in together! But there will be a wall between you so that you can each get exactly what you need and you can both leave totally happy.

AND NOTE: We do not advise “surprising” someone with these! If you do, please make sure that they are a willing participant.

To schedule this, you must call/text the office at 814-456-5833.

Please leave a message on the voicemail (if we don’t answer) with the date and/or time that you’re looking for. We will get back to you promptly.

Or send us an email at

Pricing for this service is as follows:
1 Hour Therapeutic Couples Massage $140
75 minute Therapeutic Couples Massage $170
90 minute Therapeutic Couples Massage $200

Thai Massage

Temporarily suspended due to COVID-19.

Thai Massage Therapy uses deep massage compression, joint mobilization, acupressure and passive stretching and along the body’s energy lines to increase flexibility, relieve muscles and joint tension, and balance the body’s energy systems. It is both deeply relaxing and energizing. Thai Massage Therapy will take place on a floor mat, with client remaining fully clothed in loose, comfortable clothing. Benefits include relaxing and stretching out the muscles, improving circulation, detoxifying your body, reducing blood pressure, relieving pain from tense muscles, and reduction of stress. It is believed that blockages in the body’s energy lines causes illness and disease. A Thai Massage Therapy balances these energy lines and restores general well-being and health.

NRT – Neural Reset Therapy

NRT is a New and Exciting Therapy added to our office as of November 2016! NRT resets the nervous system to release a muscle from excessive tension. With the release, knots, pain and tightness are gone! This technique is perfect for the person that does not like Deep Tissue or Trigger Point Therapy. NRT is not a separate service, but will be integrated in the bodywork sessions you book with Heather Hart, LMT. If you are interested, make sure to NOTE it while booking, or discuss when you come in!

No massaging of muscles, no deep pressure required, no lotions/creams, no face-down position required. Done fully clothed!

Oftentimes, NRT has been found to release stubborn/chronic knots and muscle tension. Because the release happens in the brain/nervous system, it helps to interrupt that chronic muscle memory contraction that keeps coming back.

In these sessions, the client will resist the practitioner in different movements, (both the therapist and client are only using about 10% of their strength).

Reiki Energy Healing  (for Stress and Anxiety)

Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) is a laying-on of hands healing technique thousands of years old. It is thought to have originated as a Tibetan Buddhist practice that was rediscovered in the late 1800’sby Dr. Mikao Usui, a Japanese Buddhist. It is a very simple yet powerful healing art that can be used on yourself as well as others and can easily be learned by everyone. The word Reiki is derived from two Japanese words- “rei,” meaning “Universal Spirit,” and “ki,” meaning “life force energy.” The word reiki, therefore, refers toa balanced cosmic and life force energy. Because of its qualities of universal energy, it seems to have a basic consciousness which, when used for healing, is able to provide exactly what is needed on all levels. Healers that have been attuned to the Reiki healing “current” will find that their natural healing energies are enhanced. They also describe their healing energies as being more powerful and more easily directed than before.

Reiki & Reflexology

A Combination of Reiki Energy Healing with the healing benefits of incorporating Reflexology. Reflexology is a system of massage used to relieve tension and treat illness, based on the theory that there are reflex points on the feet, hands, head and ears that are linked to every part of the body. Time will be split half Reiki and half Reflexology or whatever you discuss with your therapist.
