Roxiva Light Therapy uses Brainwave Entrainment (BWE). Brainwave Entrainment (BWE) is also sometimes referred to as Audio-Visual Entrainment (AVE). These are terms that describe the effects that regular shocks, flashes, or external sources of vibration have on the brain. This tunes and synchronizes the brain’s natural frequency to the natural frequency of the external stimulus. This effect is called Frequency Following Response (FFR). This can be done using sound, light, vibrations, and even certain electromagnetic pulses. BWE also has the additional benefit of being able to establish interhemispheric synchronization in both hemispheres of the brain. As a result, this improves communication between the two hemispheres.
Patterns of neurochemical activity (measured in cycles per second or hertz (Hz)) match mental states of relaxation or arousal. This Frequency Following Response of brainwave entrainment can be used to induce deep trance states and meditation. And this often happens quickly, at a level that would normally require years of practice. Moreover, you can increase your motivation and concentration. With a doctor’s care and advice, it can also help with depression and anxiety, which are probably the two biggest disorders in modern times. There are many claims about what it can do, and for most people it is a safe way to explore altered states. This is done by guiding the brain into less explored or used mental states. In some cases, this brain/stimulus synchronization can occur naturally. For example, some people fall asleep when they hear the sound of a clock ticking because their brain begins to adapt to the continuous ticking, ticking, ticking. The same thing can happen if you see street lights or road signs flashing at regular intervals while driving. It can actually make you feel drowsy.
Deep meditative states and trance states are the most common uses of brainwave entrainment. These states are often achieved faster and more deeply than with unassisted meditation. It can also be a state of high alertness, flow, and creativity. With the right intention and persistence, the possibilities are endless. Activities and situations that would be beneficial if you were more relaxed can be improved. And any activity that would benefit from more conscious focus can be improved. Both occur by training the brain to easily access and maintain certain frequencies of dominant brain waves. The consequences of synchronizing both sides/hemispheres of the brain can also positively impact communication throughout the brain. Psychedelic states and visions are also possible, especially through photic/light-based brainwave entrainment. Even though BWE is not often approved by medical professionals, it is commonly used for therapeutic purposes and has shown miraculous outcomes in some cases.

- Do not use if pregnant to avoid risks to your baby.
Very few people experience any negative effects. For a short period after a BWE session, you may simply feel different or a little distant (like a mini-trance). Most people have a positive experience, and mild side effects that occur quickly disappear.
