We are delighted to welcome Sara Jane Barr, our new licensed Massage Therapist, to the team. With a Scorpio sun sign, Sara Jane brings a deeply intuitive approach to massage, focusing on relaxing the nervous system without much conversation during sessions. Her interests in meditation, metaphysics, astrology, and the spirit world guide her therapeutic techniques.

Sara Jane specializes in deep tissue massage with a focus on flow rather than force, aiming to help clients connect with their highest selves. Associated with the elements of Water and Fire, she embodies a balance of emotional intelligence and high energy. Her extensive experience in promoting a healthy lifestyle is reinforced by over 20 years of running and a degree in Biology, making her particularly adept at working with athletes. Sara Jane is also a yoga enthusiast and teacher, which further enhances her massage skills. 

Additionally, Sara Jane’s passion for natural childbirth and her nurturing nature inspire her to support pregnant women during this significant phase of life. Her past as a veterinary technician working with exotic animals adds a unique perspective to her practice, enhancing her ability to connect with a diverse range of clients.

A proud single mom, she cherishes traveling with her teen children and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, and spending time by the lake. Music is also a significant part of her life, with a preference for live performances and genres outside mainstream radio. She has attended concerts ranging from REM to Trevor Hall and enjoys Indie & Psych Rock, Blues, Jazz, Funk, Alternative, Reggae, Jam Bands, Folk, Roots, World, EDM, Soul/Spiritual, Fusion/Experimental, and Classic Rock.

At home, Sara Jane is accompanied by one dog and one cat, further reflecting her love for animals. We are excited to have Sara Jane Barr join our team, ready to provide exceptional care and support to our clients.
