MyoFascia Release Bodywork

Release Restriction. Restore Movement. Move With Greater Ease.

You know that feeling when something in your body just feels… stuck?

You stretch it. You massage it. You try to “work it out.”

But that stubborn area keeps coming back.

Sometimes, the answer isn’t simply more pressure. It’s a different approach.

Myofascial Release Bodywork is a focused form of bodywork designed to address restrictions in the fascia—the connective tissue that surrounds, supports, and connects the muscles and structures throughout your body.

Rather than relying on fast, repetitive strokes, this work uses slow, sustained techniques and focused pressure to work with areas of restriction and help encourage greater freedom of movement.

What is Myofascial Release?

Fascia is a web-like connective tissue that runs throughout your body. When areas of the fascia become restricted or tense, you may notice stiffness, limited mobility, or that frustrating feeling that one particular area just isn’t moving the way it should.

Myofascial Release takes a more targeted approach to these areas.

Your session is designed around what your body is doing—not simply where it hurts.

You may experience slower, more intentional work as your therapist assesses how your body moves and identifies areas that may be contributing to your restrictions.

Every session is customized to your individual needs, but your treatment may include:

  • Slow, sustained myofascial release techniques
  • Little to no lotion or oil for more direct tissue engagement
  • Gentle traction and stretching
  • Trigger point work
  • Movement and postural assessment
  • Range-of-motion techniques
  • Focused work on stubborn or recurring areas of restriction

This isn’t about forcing your body into a position or pushing through pain.

It’s about listening to your body, working with the tissue, and creating space for movement.

Is Myofascial Release Right For You?

This type of bodywork may be a good fit if you experience:

Chronic tension
That same tight, restricted feeling that seems to keep coming back.

Limited mobility
You feel stiff or notice that certain movements don’t feel as easy as they used to.

Recurring problem areas
You’ve worked on the same area over and over, but the issue keeps returning.

That “something feels stuck” feeling
You can’t quite explain what’s wrong—you just know something doesn’t feel right when you move.

Massage that hasn’t quite gotten where you need it to
Sometimes traditional massage feels great but doesn’t fully address the type of restriction you’re experiencing.

Myofascial Release can also be a great option for active individuals who want to maintain mobility and better understand how their body moves.

A Different Kind of Bodywork

Myofascial Release isn’t necessarily about getting the deepest pressure possible. In fact, more pressure isn’t always the answer.

This work is slower. More focused. More intentional.

Instead of chasing every knot with increasingly deep pressure, your therapist, Chrissy Gamble, LMT, takes time to assess movement, identify restrictions, and work with the areas that may be contributing to the way your body feels.
